Year three is an exciting time for students as they navigate their academic journey through the American Academy. It is a challenging year with students commencing GCSE courses in both mathematics and science, which gives them an opportunity to think about what path they wish to pursue as they will choose their remaining GCSEs for year 4 ahead. This important decision requires careful thought and reflection and our expert academic counselors are available to all students.
Year 3 is also a time for students to consider their extra-curricular activities with new opportunities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award being offered to the year. Overall, this year bridges the current journey all students have embarked on since year one with the next steps at the school, namely GCSEs and eventual A Levels, while also ensuring that all students are abiding by the school motto and are growing and serving.
