My dearest students, Welcome to Year 5.
Having begun the first step towards designing your futures, it is now time to see it through to completion. The last part of your GCSE journey is in sight, and it will be your biggest challenge yet, with Mock exams in March and External exams in May. This will be the most challenging aspect of your year, so it is essential that you know your priorities, organize and balance your time, and persist through it all.
Later in the year, students and parents will have the opportunity to attend the Education Fair, which is organized by the Brotherhood Executive Committee. This event will allow you to gain great insight into the range of subjects offered at A’ level and hear first-hand from students presently studying these courses. This information will be crucial in the next step of your Academic journey, which is choosing your A’ levels.
However, this year is not just an Academic journey but one of personal growth, as students will embark on a two-day trip to Paphos. This experience will offer them a break from studying and a chance to bond even further as a year group; creating amazing memories.
So our key word this year is: perseverance.
My dear Year 5s, this year will be hard but remember that continuous effort is the key to unlocking your potential.
