SHARE YOUR STORY WITH US

The American Academy Larnaca inspired me in helping people who are less fortunate in the wider community. Discipline in all aspects helped me manage through my professional career and in motherhood. This school is a special place due to the bonding with all the staff, the classmates, the building itself… the walls of the American Academy. What we, the Alumni, refer to as the spirit of the American Academy Larnaca. And we do eventually grow to serve, as our motto determines.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?

Currently and since 2005 I hold a paediatric practice in the private sector.

YOUR TIME AT THE ACADEMY

I graduated in 1991. It was a really remarkable and unforgettable time. A time through which we matured socially, spiritually and physically. During the seven years of education I learned the importance of keeping the deadlines, organisation skills and great stamina to pull through study requirements during university and work.

FONDEST MEMORIES FROM AAL?

I still recall the classroom mood, the deep human connection we had with our teachers and the schools’ staff. Also the Weir Camp as a camper and later as a helper, participation in the clubs, volunteer events and the top class show.
