Meet the Committee

President

The Student Brotherhood body plays an integral and important role in the school community. It is an honour for me to be elected as the Brotherhood president and be given the opportunity to become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with the school management, teachers and parents for the benefit of the school and its students. As the president of this body I feel the commitment to do my best to resolve problems, inform the school administration of ideas emanating from the student body, create a better environment for my classmates and the future generations to come. Furthermore, through my role I would take the opportunity to serve our community through the various events we plan to organize and stand true to our school’s motto: “To Grow and to Serve”.

Michalis Efstathiades (Year 7)
President

Vice-President

As the Vice-president of the school I intend to bring an increasingly collaborative nature to the school’s council and ensure that there is strong communication between the class representatives and the school’s council. Working to the best of my ability with the committee to address the personal issues and concerns of the students and try to resolve them, is a priority and a commitment of mine.  Throughout the years, the committee has worked along the Senior Management Team to successfully voice the students’ interests and overcome issues threatening the school’s stable environment. To say I am thankful for the opportunity I had to attend one of the leading school’s in Cyprus, is an understatement; being part of the AAL family has helped me grow, mature, and now I am ready to serve.
